Just wanted to comment on a point that a lot of inxs fans have on their minds, and that is how disgraceful today's inxs is with J.D. whatever his name is as a lead singer. It is an embarrassment to the band and to the fans to have j.d. as the lead singer, since he stinks, really, he is awful. I think that there has to be a better way to find a lead singer than going through a stupid competition like rock star inxs. Could they just have auditioned professional lead singers who were available? Just a thought. And one last comment, just wanted to re-ititerate the fact that "Gay D." Fortune is terrible as a lead singer.

I agree, he can't sing like Michael Hutchence. OK he can sure get the vocals right for 'What you need' on the tv show Rock Star INXS; but when it come to the other songs, he can't belt up the vocals. He hasn't got that sultry,sexy, tenor voice. He even can't dance! I never even had the chance to vote,and if I did it would be for an Australian. Michael has an incredible voice, especially when he whispers, the vocals for the songs, it brings a chill down my spine. J.D, you have to work on your vocals and stop making those stupid faces, and relax your lips. You are so full of yourself. Fame has gone to your head, and in no time you will be back sleeping in your car again. Stop acting like an idiot on stage, we do have an imagination when it comes to the song 'TASTE IT' its a sexy, dirty song, but don't destroy it by licking the microphone stand, Michael would never have done it, he probably would lick his lips, or finger, ,just enough to tease us women. Michael only needed to have done it once, he had this sex appeal on stage, no wonder women from around the world wanted to sleep with him. He was unbelieveable on stage,he sauntered like a cat,and he knew how to look and preform on camera.

I think JD has blended into INXS very well. He's a brilliant singer. Everyone knows that no one can replace Micheal, but they can create a new sound with JD, and I think JD knows that he can't replace him. I think he should be given a chance.

jd Fartune is trash. He's a smarmy las vegas impersonator more theatrical than either mig or ty taylor who inxs claim might be too theatrical for them. He's arrogant full of himself and full of IT.
He stabbed everyone of the other contestants on that show in the back.
He was sneaky certainly not a team player. He kissed so much inxs ass I'm surprised he still had a mouth to use on that microphone when he ruined Michaels song taste it. He is so not right for that band that it is ridiculous.
Not only could he NEVER fill Michael Hutchences shoes he couldn't even be worthy of the dirt underneath them. We will never buy one cd or take any free ones if that were the case if he is on it.
Could never stand to go see them perform with that HUGE PHONY . What a joke he is. Poor taste in choosing someone to be your lead singer.
He was chosen by this band way before it aired and the show was for the publicity they desperately needed. Desperate is a great way to describe the bands choice and how they did it.
